I have recently moved my office to one of Roscoe’s Manor Road apartment communities. While here, I have been reminded of many of the things that make Austin an amazing town to live in. On Manor Road you can:
Love all things Local – From Breakfast Tacos to Hot Dogs, and Drama to Comedy. You can find a multitude of locally grown and owned restaurants, theaters, cleaners and more. Some of my favorites are Man Bites Dog at 2101 Manor Road, and the Salvage Vanguard Theater at 2803 Manor Road.
Get where you need to go – Bike lanes take you right into the UT campus or even downtown in minutes! A brisk walk can take you to Thunderbird for your morning coffee, Red House Pizza for your afternoon Happy Hour and the University of Texas for your evening class.
Meet the most interesting people – From Grad Students to Comedians, Renters to Long-time Home Owners and Generation Y to Centurions…you will find wonderful neighbors and characters throughout the Cherrywood neighborhood.
This just scratches the surface of what I love about Manor Road and Cherrywood.
What and who makes your neighborhood special?
The amazing Manor Road Photography is by Roni Gendler . I highly recommend her for any photography needs…from portraits, to events to human interest. See more of her work at our Manor Road office or on her website.
