Roscoe Property Management Reports Rent Payments Remain Strong for April

RPM Continues to Grow & Add New Properties

Austin, TX (April 14, 2020) – 95% of the 38,000 apartments managed by Roscoe Property Management (“RPM”) paid their rent this April with more rent trickling in every day. This exceeded the industry average reported for April rent collection. RPM collects 100% of rental payments electronically through a variety of online and electronic methods.

RPM, the third largest property management company in Texas, is pleased to announce that it has added 70 properties to its portfolio over the last year. The company continues to be awarded new management assignments during these unprecedented times by remaining agile and adjusting operations to meet the rapidly evolving environment.

The company is following NMHC guidance for multifamily operators and assisting residents by waiving all late fees and coordinating payment plans. RPM is also waiving fees associated with credit card transactions. The company is providing residents with local resources to assist with rent and support their needs. In addition educational videos, virtual events and ongoing communications are continuously being developed and shared with residents. While offices are closed, RPM team members continue to work and serve residents during these challenging times.

RPM indicated that over the last six weeks, conversions from virtual tours to new lease applications is at 65%.

RPM is working diligently to manage upcoming lease expirations. Under ordinary circumstances RPM team members would personally visit with each resident to discuss their renewal options. By utilizing technology, RPM can still interact with residents while maintaining a safe working environment.  “Residents are choosing to renew their leases within their communities at this time,” said Jason Berkowitz.  RPM reports that the residents are looking forward to reconnecting with their neighbors when restrictions are lifted.
